When we do communicate, whether
in verbal or written form, we need words to express our thoughts, ideas, and feelings. And, here comes the important part – the selection
of words which we use in our communication.
To make ourselves more effective and outstanding, we must have sound
base of familiar words. A good vocabulary fuels the requisite word, which is required
to make our communication remarkable.
As per Wikipedia, the definition
of Vocabulary is “a person's vocabulary is the set of words within a language that
are familiar to that person.” Merriam Webster
defines Vocabulary as “a sum or stock of words employed by a language, group,
individual, or work in a field of knowledge”. Oxford Dictionary defines Vocabulary as “the
body of words used in a particular language.”
Synonymous, antonyms, homonyms are
just a few ‘special categorical name’ which are the part of English vocabulary.
So here we are to make your learning process more smooth, flexible and easier
to make your good command over English language. Knowledge and good command of
these words not only helps you in attempting right option in your examination’s
OMR sheet, but also in your communication, writing and in all the sphere of
your life. Always keep in mind that familiar words having similar meaning –
