Acknowledging the growing importance of English grammar

The importance of English grammar is increasing day by day. This phenomenon is not confine to certain competitive examinations but capturing a wide picture. The upcoming examination of DPSI (Executive) conducted by Staff Selection Commission is the testimony of this emerging trend. Recently, in an examination  conducted by DRDO for CPETAM  100 question had been asked in English section, alone. What else can be said now.

Usually, identification of English grammar errors is the integral and important part of each examinations whether for government jobs or other entrance examinations for higher education. Despite, being fully aware right from the beginning, students  are prone to commit mistakes by taking this particular section in a casual manner. In our experience, what we have observed that aspirants for governments jobs do mistakes even when it comes to simple verb-agreement.

Nobody can deny the importance of Part of Speech when we discuss anything about English grammar. These 8 words - termed together as Part of Speech- form the backbone of English grammar. And, to ensure our good command and success, we have to have religiously study the rules of these Part of Speech and practice their exercise.
